James Rimmer

Dr. James Rimmer is the Lakeshore Foundation Endowed Chair and a Professor in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation Sciences, School of Health Professions, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Dr. Rimmer is also the Director of the UAB-Lakeshore Foundation Research Collaborative and a Senior Scientist at the UAB Nutrition Obesity Research Center. Dr. Rimmer has been developing and directing health promotion programs for people with disabilities aimed at reducing obesity, increasing physical activity and improving nutrition in youths, adults and seniors with disabilities.
