Evidence-informed recommendations for designing inclusive playgrounds to enable play participation for children with disabilities

This knowledge translation bulletin summarizes a scoping review that analyzed existing literature on inclusive playground design. Thirteen evidence-informed recommendations and one promising practice were identified which have implications for how future playgrounds should be designed to maximize usability and inclusiveness, and to uphold children of all ages and abilities right to play.
