Understanding the key ingredients of what makes an intervention successful is important for developing effective physical activity strategies for people with physical disability. In this meta-analysis, we reviewed 24 physical activity intervention studies and discussed the role of theory, behaviour change techniques, interventionist, mode, setting, and intervention intensity in improving physical activity participation in people with physical disability.
