This knowledge translation bulletin summarizes a 2018 report examining coaches’ perceptions and experiences working with athletes with a disability.

Specifically, it summarizes research that aims to help optimize the quality of coaches' and athletes' sport experiences by 1) outlining coaches’ demographic characteristics, 2) examining coaches' perceptions of their capability, opportunity, and motivation to work with athletes with a disability, and 3) investigating issues related to learning and development pathways, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours among coaches currently working with athletes with a disability.
